This arrangement represents movement III of a much larger, multi-movement work: Christmas Ornaments [RBM-105]. In response to repeated requests, this single movement has been extracted and edited for separate performance by chorus and orchestra. The setting contains lush arrangements of Lully, Lullay and the What Child Is This? – connected with a modulatory passage and concluding with a short instrumental revisitation of the first carol.
