RBM -101b
SSAA chorus with multiple accompaniments

This composition was written for the New York Pops Orchestra in 1990 and has subsequently been extensively programmed by professional and non-professional musical ensembles in a variety of performance venues and concert situations. It is a rhythmic, yet lyrical, setting of the liturgical Latin text and has been used with much success on both sacred and secular programs.

This version of the work is voiced for treble chorus; the original version was scored for SATB chorus and large orchestra. No soloists.

The original SATB and a TTBB voicing are also available for this composition, any of which may be performed using one of the various available accompaniments.

The original, full orchestration (3333 / 4331, timp, 3 perc, hp, stgs), as well as a reduced orchestration (2121 / 2220, 2 perc, hp, stgs) are available for this work on a rental-only basis.* Neither of these accompaniments requires organ.
