Psalm 150
RBM-026
SATB Chorus with Brass Quintet, Organ and Percussion Accompaniment

Given the exultant character of text for Psalm 150, the composer has here constructed an anthem almost entirely declamatory in style. The work begins with a fanfare passage in the brass and percussion, with organ figurations upon this texture; shortly, the chorus enters aggressively with the opening passage of the text. The commonly used arch form is here abandoned and the structure of the piece is dictated, formally, by the original scripture.

The instrumental performance package for this work (2 tpt, hn, tbn, tba, 2 perc, organ) is available for purchase from the distributor. [RBM-240]
