RBM-001b | The King of Love Solo Voice Alto Baritone

The King of Love
Solo Alto or Baritone with Piano or Orchestral Accompaniment

This setting of the well-known Christmas hymn was originally arranged for high voice (Soprano or Tenor) with piano accompaniment [RBM-001a], to be performed at the memorial service of a musical friend of the composer. The resulting piece was later re-pitched a minor-third lower (C major) for performance by low voice (Alto or Baritone) with piano accompaniment.

An SATB choral version [RBM-001] of the work, with piano accompaniment, was later requested for a special occasion, and this resulting choral work (in E-flat major) was also subsequently orchestrated for medium-sized orchestra (woodwinds and brass in pairs [no tuba], percussion, harp and strings).

The full orchestration is only available in the original key (E-flat major).
