The King of Love
RBM-001
SATB Chorus with Orchestral or Piano Accompaniment

This arrangement of the well-known Christmas hymn began its life as a solo piece for soprano or tenor with piano accompaniment [RBM-001a]. The arranger was later asked to create a choral version of the work for a specific, special occasion and this version for SATB chorus with piano was born.

An orchestral version of the accompaniment was subsequently created for a European performance involving the arranger as guest conductor, and served as a sort of encore for that concert. The orchestral setting requires the services of a medium-sized orchestra (woodwinds and brass in pairs [no tuba], percussion, harp and strings).

In addition to the above described arrangements, this work is also available for solo alto or baritone with piano accompaniment, pitched a minor-third below the original solo version. [RBM-001b]
